Recognizing People/Groups Doing Great Things in Pictou County

I came across a post today and thought we should send a huge THANK YOU on behalf of the community to the volunteers at the Mountain Bike Trail Builders Pictou County for their dedication and tireless work doing repairs to improve the conditions of the Fitzpatrick Mountain Trail! "

Over winter a few of the boardwalks/bridges sustained damages. We ask that trail users use caution when approaching damaged wooden features until the group has the resources to replace them.

We have finished the installation of the new bridge with a new ramp on the Fitz side and a new approach on the Scotsburn side."
