Appreciating Pictou County

“How long has it been since you moved to Pictou County?” Lori answered, “I’ve only been there about a year, I’m new to the County!”

I could feel the excitement she felt exploring and appreciating her new community. I was quickly reminded of this fitting quote, “We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey, especially the goodness of the people we meet on the way. Appreciation is a wonderful feeling, don’t overlook it.”

“Is there anything you would like us to share about the photos?” I asked. Lori paused, “So I guess I’d say I am just taking the time to get acquainted with all the beauty of the East River / Hopewell area.”
