A Twinkle That Could Light The Sky
A few weeks ago there was a tree lighting ceremony in remembrance of Nick Falconer who was a local Toney River fisherman who we lost way too young. Nick was the nicest person you could ever meet and such a great person. It was a sad time in Toney River.
I remember the first year they put up the tree. I went over so many times and took photos and just enjoyed this beacon of lights. Every time I drive by, I still admire this beautiful tree that was built with love and tears to remember such a great young man who the community lost way too soon.
Nick could light up a room with his smile. Now this tree that honors and remembers him, lights up the sky with that same twinkle.
