We had the pleasure of meeting this lovely lady when she stopped by our office to pick up her $50 gift card.
What Nelly probably thought was going to be a quick stop, delightfully turned into an hour-long chit chat when we invited her in to spend some time with us.
We learned that her dad immigrated to Nova Scotia from Holland after the war, that her and her husband used to own a local farm, and that they raised their family here. We also shared many laughs, and a few heartfelt stories that almost made us all tear up.
Meeting Nelly reminded us that life is all about connection and how important it is to make time to reach out to others. Thank you
